Ranga Payana- Journey from darkness to luminiscence

The blog below is content of the website of "Ranga Payana" theatre group which is been translated  from kannada.

What is the disagreement in the lightening smile of innocent hearts? In the barrack marking famishes and pain, hundreds of dreams.  Ample of examples for those ingenuous hearts, guiding their simple life, blending themselves with one’s and all with no demur.   Trembled in meaningless satire observances .Unbearable life of these children startled us. Miserable exploitation, leading to un-happiness in their lives. Battling for pin-money, giving up their schooling for those tiny chores, not acquiring a good job, dreadful their futurity, without position, deprived of the valuable thoughts of life. Ironically even today this is a question…

Though the complexion of Topsy-curvy insecurity and suppression varies. In these cities children suffer loneliness, struggling from fascism of parents and small families, suffocated schooling and lessons, punishments, every prevailing loss and disgrace. Significantly the children who are under pressure of competition, who are scoring marks for someone’s happiness suffer a mental drawback. Children who are deprived of opportunities, quarantined their schooling, enrolled themselves in money making and unusual activities. Children who dream of school serving their family as child labor, children of unusual mentality prevailed around us. Encouraging backward, needy children’s education. And there by kickoff the basement for future. we are the responsible for children physical and mental stability. In order take off initiation “Ranga Payana” journey from darkness to luminescence.

Our motto is to encourage education, to spurt up the repressed child, to bring the labors, slum children, blind children to the main stream of society from darkness to luminescence by conducting adventurous camps, theater activities mental ability classes.  Providing free schooling, providing books and building libraries.

Come let’s put hand together and move in “Ranga Payana” journey from darkness to luminescence.

SMALL IDEA BIG IMPACT

Small Idea Big Impact

Watching Sanitary pad box; boy gibe’s at a girl “Bread, for whom”, for which girl got exasperated and answers “it’s for you come in the morning you will get it with tea”.

Don’t know how much we make fun of it. Even in metropolitans, men of age 16 to 26 who are aware of the product whoop out a laugh at sanitary pads, rather than treating it  as a normal stationary.

People who talk about using condoms, sexual education and its importance Blah Blah, they themselves are the part of sexual comics written on Sanitary pads.

When we look over, every day millions of women in India; in-fact; globally, women suffer over their monthly sexual cycle an even it’s a matter of hesitant to them to express, even in front of their husband.

Have you ever used gunny bags, rags or saw dust to small wounds or cuts to avoid infection?  I think the answer will be No, but it’s true and horrible that Indian women were using these, to protect their genital issue called as a menstrual period. It’s a matter to think and even today many orthodox Indian families treat women as untouchables, rather than solicitude to women during their menstrual periods.

Off course, this is a global issue; Still no one thought of it, neither the women activists/associations nor the women and child welfare ministry. Though, multinational companies given a solution to this issue; but, it were not reachable middle class or poor class.

When this problem was a taboo, he came up with an idea Mr.Arunachalam Muruganantham. “Small idea big impact” was his product's motto and he reached his goal. Today, number of sanitary pad users increased to 3.5 million and more.

What he has done was a simple research and based on which he reduced the cost of sanitary pads by framing a simple machine for its production. This was crucial initiation. He experimented his products on his wife, sisters, some outsiders and finally on himself. Such was his passion and concern over this small issue (as per world).

One might think, what a sanitary pad can do for the country. It’s true that it solved  the problem of millions of women around the country .  It provided jobs to thousand across the country, even at the top part of the Himalayas. Most importantly, those who started earning from the machine were poor women.

His simple thinking, a passion for his concern, non-greedy business strategies made him a successful entrepreneur and though his accent of English is not a great one, but today he is one of the finest and the humorous orator in all major business schools of India.

It is not surprising for anybody, since he received Presidents award, but it was  still special when he received it  from first the women president of India.

Thanks to Arunachalam Muruganantham and his small idea and big impact that relieved millions of women around the country.  Hats off to him for leading meaningful inspirational  life.

It was a chaos
And dirty little thing for us
He took that dirty little problem
And solved it with small idea his name was Muruganantham.

BOOK OF MEMORIES

Opened the book of memories
left were just  the tears
When tears were the words
Poems that born were hundreds

Don’t know where you travelled
never returned back, from the unseen world,
Pressing a pause
To the pace of our happiness

On and on memorizing
Your smile
Yet the pool of tears disguise
Oh dear! How to forget the fear of turmoil

To forget your face, I tried hard
To forget is it a half blossomed bud
Even the flower can fade
How is it possible to forget your end.

Oh my friend
Your memories are immortal,
Infinite, impeccable, recurring

DONT PANIC

If a person is addicted to alcohol, we call them alcoholic, If a person is psychologically weak, we call them psychic; but, the word panic is nothing but addiction to pain .

Pain-ic is nothing but panic. In and around our lives, we come across lots of situations; where, every one of us comes across panic situations. Getting panic is the ultimate path of a catastrophe. Always ice cool nature will lead life happily.

No man is devoid of pain, grief and whine . Everyone of us has undergone a situation of pathetic or come across medical emergency. Under such situation becoming panic is common, Panic minds not just ruin them-,self but his fellows too. If the patient infers panic, he won’t recover from disease easily. If his mates get panic, the situation will be worse; since, they hits on patients hope by showing panic.

Similar to medical exigency, we come across lots of natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunami, fire accidents; where, the situations are difficult to handle; because, man is speck in front of nature to withstand. Getting panic is such regards kill lives that could otherwise have been saved.

When I think of the word “PANIC’ I think of  certain situation I experienced and most of us do.

There will be situations and NEWS, heard by everyone of us about people losing lives after drowning in the water  accidentally slipping into the water or else falling into deep without knowing swim completely.

Under such situations, panic minds going to die beyond doubt; and, they take a few with them as well. Even while drowning, one will not die immediately; but, turning panic will take them to the end. Under worse condition they pull someone and take their lives with them. Even best swimmers find difficult to rescue them. In some other situations good swimmers turn panic and plunge themselves.

Born in a goldsmith family and being in a pure science field, I came across lots of acid accidents. One day I heard one bad event in one of my known families; where three year child burned his legs, pulling up the HNO3 bottle which was often used in devising jewelry.

An overwhelming feeling of fear and anxiety and the child’s mother to rub the child’s legs with a cloth; which resulted in a spread of the acid half way of the body up  to the thigh and in some parts of the hand and abdomen as well.

The child is gifted with scars of acid burn for the rest of the life, as a result of getting panic. Taking cool,  if she would have poured lots of water or thud the child into water tub and then applied baking soda available at home, acid would have neutralized to greater extent if not completely.

While studying M.Sc, one of my classmates drank acid while mouth pipetting in a tautness of lab. And her life was in danger, we all were in panic and stood static until one cool guy poured water into her mouth and rescued her life by avoiding the burning of her tungsten; though her pink lips burned.

Often we hear about accidents, road mishaps which are the result of being anxious or clueless due to affright situation. We all heard about drivers jumping from their seat, damaging him; but, causing disaster. People keep on pressing accelerator when they are being panicke or scared.

Even in the corporate world, anxious minds quarrel with higher officials, which result in their loss of appraisal or resignation. The loss is not to higher authority as they may feel happy for saving some bucks to the company which helps their appraisal .

At the edge of victory doesn’t panic, it helps your opponent to take a chance.  Being cool make its way ease more.  Probably this is why Dhoni is praised for.

For every one of us catastrophic emergencies are a default.

BEING PANIC JUST INCREASE THE PAIN
NOTHING WILL BE LEFT OTHER THAN VAIN
BEING COOL CAN ROOT OUT THE BANE
EVEN WE TOO CAN PLEASURE PEOPLE LIKE A RAIN

Do The Feelings Fade?

Do The Feelings Fade?

Do the feelings fade?
Whether it roams around a Universe called mind?

 Climbing the mountain of annoyance
Kissing Breeze of glee
Before sword of death snap And
Rupturing our chest.

Mind, love, friendship, Hatred,
Disguising belief of rise And decayed
Language of Land, forest, Water, insects,
Before throning Fierceness, courage, gallantry

Do the feelings fade?
Whether it roams around a universe called Mind?

Luster of laughter
Irony of wonder
Enduring grief of fatigue And fast
Fondness, beauties light
 Before diffusing

 Thunder of Emotions
Drawing subtle strikes
Before burning a blaze
Do the feelings fade?
Whether it roams around a universe called Mind?

HOLI WE MISSED WHOLLY

HOLI WE MISSED YOU WHOLLY

Born and brought up in a tiny artistic town called as Ilkal which is famous for its six yards of saris. Perfect drape for the evening, the elegance untouched, Sarees which make Indian women look more beautiful and die for saris.

The Town is also famous for red colored polished Granite's which makes the floors of temples, bungalows, offices, laboratories  look glistened like flattened and polished  mountain.

Apart from these, there are lots of colors to watch out in the town. When it comes to Holi it will be even more color-full than the rest of the world, since the town is not far from Bagalkot.

Holi has been celebrated with lot of Liveliness and eagerness. Quality of elevation of mind and exaltation of character conducted by the people of Bagalkot and  all the places nearer to Bagalkot including our town. Along with briskness and grandeur, Holi also symbolizes religious unity and harmony; where, people of all sects come together to celebrate it.

During  Holi it's not just Bagalkot or nearby places; but the whole of the north Karnataka people goes live wire.

Holi is a symbolic festival of burning "Kama" which literally means being lustful, in broader sense festival represent's burning of evil thoughts.

In most of the part of the country the Holi may be celebrated for one to five days, but in our town it starts with the end of "Mahashivaratri", 15 days before the "Holi Hunnime" the full moon cycle. The festival has a lot to watch, other than just colors.

The Bagalkot district has its own way of celebrating Holi which arouses the artists by a percussion instrument made of skin of Buffalo's and cow's tied to huge bangles made of iron,  we call it "Halige".  The orchestra of this instrument blended with some Desi drums, huge anklets, its called as "Haligemela".

I think 90% of the male population take part in the festival this geographical area, and they all seeming to be experts in beating the instrument. Haligemela runs for 18 days from Shivratri to end of RangapanchamiHaligemela starts in the evening in every street and the tuning will be of a unique folk style which is a delight to hear. There are hardly few people in my town who doesn't take part in Haligemela.

Just before two days to full moon day; there commences a special fancy dress being organized from the traditional old street people. The fancy disguised Blokes dressed themselves like women, film actors, actresses, political leaders, gods, mythological hero's, etc. They show off themselves while standing in a tractor of their street and this tradition called as "Sogu" which literally means "Disguise".This not just describes the fun but also teaches social lessons to the viewers.

On full moon day each streets compatriots make a group  and set up idols of Rati and Kama the Hindu God of love and desires. They worship them for the whole day and pay offerings, orchestra , dance will be although the day until the next morning around 3 am, at which the Kamadahan the burning of Kama being performed. Youth dance in joy at the site of the blaze and there are also rituals to bake sweet potatoes in the blaze of Kama and distribute as Prasad( deity's blessings).

After littering KamaHoli  continues with pomp with beginning of color playing . Each street ties a colored pot and break it to fill the color to the ground,  this officially begins Holi, everyone throws colors on each other; while the whole of the town unites as a symbol of unity, peace and harmony which will be the real treat to eyes.

From the full moon day the colorful Holi is celebrated for 1-5 days in different towns of the district. Where ever your eyes go, there will be color, sadly people won't even leave their pet animals. I took part in Holi in my town until my age reached 18. Face, head, and every part of the body full of colors,  even our parents feel difficult to recognize us.

Then  I shifted to Hospet-the Vijaynagara glory to study B.Sc. At Hospet there was no "Haligemela" Or "Sogu" and Burning of "Kama". But the joy of Holi was there as usual. We were grownups and started playing Holiat hostel with friends, throwing eggs and tomatoes.

After doing all the senses and non-senses with boys who refuse to play Holi at boys hostel, we used to move to girls hostel and apply colors to friends and classmates outside their hostel premise, dance with them and enjoy every moment of the day.  After color celebration it was still more joy when we move to canals for swim in the name of the bath.

Then I moved to Gulburga university campus, though the city will not be busy playing Holi, but the university will be.  The Boys tear each other's shirts and then play more with water than colors, for this there was a reason too; probably, the temperature which will never be less than  40 at the time of Holi.

After all this boy's roam all through the university, half-naked . They move towards girls hostel  which will be tightly locked than any day in the year. Crazy guys scream the girls' names with whom they want to play Holi, or  to whom they want to propose or the girl whom they feel pretty enough to have a crush. They kick the huge entry gate in frustration, kick the boards beside the hostel and move back to their place like a fox scolding grape as sour for not getting them. After this we too moved to our respective hostels; where, our group members do mass bath or community bath at cloth washing areas.

Despite of slight differences,, it will not be much different in all parts of North Karnataka; in-fact throughout India.

We enjoyed our childhood, gone past the college days. We are now under stalemate of struggle at corporate; where, the Holi day  not being declared holiday., it does not seem like a holy-day. Even if, it is holiday accidentally, no environment or mood to play Holi at metropolitans.

At last left is song "jaane kaha gaye wo din"

And a feel "Holi we missed you Wholly".

HOBBIES MAKE YOU RECOGNISED

HOBBIES MAKE YOU RECOGNISED

When I open my mail inbox, I found a lot of messages, peculiarly Facebook updates, irrelevant job updates, interview letters, My zamana,  Google+, twitter, LinkedIn updates etc.

Along with these a few days back a networking site ascribed a name Skill Pages in where I appended three of my skills Microbiology, Biotechnology which are primary skills by which I was expecting something  noticable might happen with these skills for my career. Along with these two I  added my secondary skill as a writer.

Yes writing is my hobby, I started writing 4 line short poems in Kannada which are called as “Chutukugalu”. While  studying  PUC, I started to scribble two line linear thoughts. From my degree started  scrawling some short writings which I call as an articles, which may not meet the criteria’s to meet the standards to call it article . Once I started earning, I started writing a novel and completed it . These small scribbles made me add writing as my secondary skill.

After these, I got myself many job offers which are relevant for profile as a writer  this is why I mentioned m brain drilling back story., this made me think

“Hobbies make you a different Entity”                                                                                                       Smart to cultivate it”

Hobbies are the chores that we perform in our free time. But a hobby is the greatest asset if it can be your earning profession.

Hobby of writing makes a recognition as author no matter What  is the chore of earning rice.

Cricketers prove it with the wealth they earn. It is true that many of the world famous writers were in diverse profession. Indian Cricketers provide a lot of examples, who knows Anil Kumble as an Engineer.  Sachin Tendulkar as a  bank officer seems to be a joke for most of the people .

Shankar Mahadevan was an engineer before falling into the world of music. Albert Einstein was an accountant, but the world recognizes him by science.

Mary Kom is a police officer, Chetan Bhagat was a banking official, Narayan Murthy was a software engineer working for a private firm before opening his own firm. Ritesh Deshmukh recognized as an actor rather than son of former chief minister.

A painter might be a millionaire, but will be recognized by his masterpieces more than money. Raja Ravi  Varma was a king, but the world knows him as a painter.

Hobbies are the lanes to which the world looks. Hence, if one needs attention from the world, follow hobbies.

Sing if you can reach the melody, paint your imaginations, use your mathematics beyond examination hall. Use your engineering skill to create the creativity, play games, go for a ride, enjoy an outing, collect the information’s, watch NGC, sports, films. Whatever is your hobby, Just Do it.

“Hobbies make You Recognized”.

EVENT MANAGEMENT

EVENT MANAGEMENT

Event management” It was an ethereal managerial skill that is requisite for the success of the event.

The success of an event mainly reckons on the following parameters or else managerial criteria’s.

Plan:

Ahead of doing any task, it’s a plan which acts as a basement to the building. The plan for the program should be prepared and documented. Before planing it should be well discussed with the fellow members in the panel of the task, and the one who is associated to the chore.

One should take the initiative of devising the plan and its accomplishment, its blueprints, sketches to be machinated prior to motivating  the panel. It will be great if it is clearly documented. The motivator should be a resource full person who can harness all the assets of an event and its consequences.

“Plan serves you as foot in the walk of managing an event”. Without feet, do not think of a successful walk because  heel chairs don't work here.

Motivation:

It’s a difficult task in the event management, since it’s a labor of winning over the panel about the event planing. The initiatory person for a motivation, better ought to impress with good communication skills, attractive and gentle repute. The difficulty arises in motivating the sponsors and financiers while conducting an event. Even the media tactics may play role in motivating a plan.

Media communication:

In the modern world, advertisements plays a major role in the triumph of any event, project, product, etc. Approaching the people via the Internet, newspaper, TV, FM envy a huge role; it can even pull lots of patrons to the event.

Source: It is a very important labor to be ascertained before campaigning event. This includes place, time, people involved etc.

Time:

“Time is the price of success…. Tme is the secret of happenings”

It’s a very privileged action, that has to be done while engineering an event. Even a second to be masterminded and executed, for instance; if you are going for an expedition, one has to plan the kilometers travelling, estimate the time going to take to travel the distance, time that can go  junking in traffic,  time spent in breakfast, lunch, dinner and other miscellaneous aspects have to be counted and assorted a time.

Similarly, if you are organizing a symposium or a seminar, one has to calculate the time that each person can be allotted and can consume by each speaker, if mandatory even the time can be restricted accordingly to the orator, tea and other breaks will decide  overall success. Everything is dependent on infinite valuable TIME.

MONEY: Whatever the plan is. It will be useless without vitamin M. It is the bridge.  Without M, one cannot deal with the flow. It boost’s all the plans, it is the oxygen to the plan.

To raise the money all the above parameters play a pivotal role in their own way, it is very important to catch the right sponsors and financiers.

If the money has to be amassed between the panel, then it should be well ciphered to compile the particular amount from each person as per capacity or else should be equally shared by the panel.  Even the expenditure's type, purpose, time of expenditure,  has to be accounted in the plan, and there should be alternative plan to come off any stalemates in the finance.

Even a small event needs a perfect plan and execution. For example say a pooja (Festival) in your house or a Ganesh utsav (Ganesh festival) in your street. The small moon can eclipse the great sun, alike, a small mistake can menace your event.

One can do great things, set yourself in the right place at the right time.
